Aindrea grew up in the Niagara region, but moved to Toronto right after high school to work as an outreach intern with Urban Promise. She left after a couple years to pursue a nursing degree at Ryerson University, so coming to Sanctuary as a nurse many years later has been a bit of a return to Christian justice community.

Aindrea came to us in 2019 from a background of working in a variety of community nursing roles, including working with young pregnant women and working in Uganda in a travelling clinic. Aindrea also has a post-grad certificate in mental health nursing from Durham College, and has training in palliative care nursing. Her skills, and her compassionate presence were a gift to us in the season of COVID-19.

Fun Fact: Aindrea has also been able to share her passion of fishing and frog catching with our Sanctuary community which has created many lasting memories of fun and friendship!
